MyRack FAQs

What is the gauge of steel and the tubing size used on the Myrack?

We use 12 gauge steel (2mm thick) with 60x60mm tubing, this gives the Force USA MyRack its strength and why we back it with a Lifetime Warranty.

Do ALL Force USA attachments fit on the Myrack?

No. It is important to remember that ONLY Force USA MyRack attachments are manufactured specifically to fit on the Force USA MyRack.  Look out for the product code (F-MR-) to be certain it is a MyRack attachment or call one of our friendly staff.

Can the MyRack be used outdoors? Will it rust?

While it is possible to set up your MyRack outside, it is not recommended. The MyRack is not designed or manufactured to withstand the elements and like any metal left outside it will begin to rust.

We recommend using your own rust prevention if you have no other choice but to set up your Power Rack outside.

Please be aware any warranty offered by Force USA will be void.

You can take it one step further and remove the bottom crossbar, which will convert your Power Rack into a walkthrough functional rack.

Why is there a gap between my upright and box safety, once installed?

The reason for the small space between the upright and your box safety, is to allow for other MyRack attachments to be placed on the front or back of the rack at the same time and at the same height.

Each production run is tested to meet our rigorous safety standards and weight ratings to deliver the safest and highest quality power rack to your training facility.

Can I use the Cable attachments on either side of the MyRack?

Yes. The cable attachments for the MyRack were specifically designed to allow for installment on any side of the MyRack uprights.

This means you can have either 1x cable attachment on one side of your rack or 4x cable attachments on every side of your rack.

I’m having trouble fixing my Lat Attachment to the MyRack, my cable is too short?

The Lat Attachment has a few different adjustment points to allow for different cable lengths and tolerances. 99% of the time a few simple adjustments in these areas will fix any issues with cable lengths.

What is the accessory hole spacing on the MyRack uprights.

We use Westside spacing on our uprights. The lower portion has accessory holes spaced 1-inch on center for bench press while the upper portion of the upright has accessory holes spaced 2-inches on center for squats, overhead presses, etc.
