Two hundred pounds per stack is plenty… until it isn’t. Each upgrade adds 50 lb per stack, so you can stop stalling out and keep the gains coming—but only if you're training on a C20, Functional Trainer Rack, or Tandem Tower.
On the Tandem Tower, one single-stack upgrade takes you to its 250 lb max. On the C20 or Functional Trainer Rack, each dual stack can be upgraded twice—250 with one, or the full 300 lb max with two. Add them when you buy, and installation is painless. Wait, and it turns into a project.
Studios, gyms, households—it doesn’t matter. If you’re pushing heavy or more than one person’s using the machine, you’ll be glad to have the extra weight. More plates mean more progress, and more flexibility for everyone who trains.
