Expected a more refined feel

"I had higher hopes for this one. The assisted chin-up function works, but the resistance feels a little uneven through the range of motion, which isn't great when you're trying to build controlled pulling strength. The dip station is fine but nothing standout. For the footprint and price, I expected a more refined feel."

Convenient, but handle placement is off

"Being able to do pull-up and dip work at home without waiting on a machine is great. But the handle placement isn't ideal — they sit a bit too wide for my shoulder comfort on dips, and the knee pad doesn't lock as firmly as I'd want when I'm shifting around mid-set. I use it, but it's not my favorite piece in the gym."

Greg P. (4/5)

Functional but not as polished as I expected

"I bought this to help my teenage son work toward unassisted pull-ups, and it does basically what it's supposed to do. My main gripe is that the assist platform doesn't feel as smooth as it should — there's a bit of a stutter at the top of the chin-up that's been there since day one. The dip handles are also positioned a little wider than I'd like. Functional, but I expected more polish."

Tyler W. (3/5)

Handles and footrest need work

"The handles need work and the foot rest isn't great when you want to use the dip station for crunches. The assist works but the overall feel isn't on par with the rest of the line."

Matt S. (3/5)

Works, but the assist has some stutter

"Easy enough to use, but the assist platform has some stutter to it that I haven't been able to get used to. Works fine for drop sets if you're not picky about feel."

Does the job, not the smoothest

"The dedicated machine made me feel more comfortable doing assisted pull-ups than I was with door-frame versions. I can hit a few different muscle groups with it which is nice. That said, the assist mechanism isn't as smooth as I'd hoped, and the knee pad shifts under me on some reps. It does the job but I'd want it to feel more refined for the price."

Mark M. (4/5)

Decent, not the standout

"The chin-up and dip stations are accessible enough that everyone in the house can use them, which is the main reason I bought it. The knee pad is stable and switching between the two positions is quick. The assist mechanism is okay, but not as smooth as the rest of the line, and the handles could be positioned better for dips. Decent piece of equipment, not the standout in the lineup."
