Leg Machines
Stop skipping leg day. Force USA leg machines are built to bring serious lower-body training home, from plate-loaded combo machines that pack four exercises into one compact sled, to pin-loaded Solitude Series stations purpose-built for the leg press, leg extension, leg curl, and abductor/adductor.
Our machines have been recognized by Garage Gym Reviews for innovation, and every one of them is engineered to go heavy, train safe, and fit where other machines won't. Whatever your space, whatever your goals, there's a leg machine built for it here.
Force USA leg machines build serious lower-body strength while protecting your joints, with options for every space and budget. The range covers plate-loaded combo machines, pin-loaded Solitude Series stations, and the patent-pending Sliding Bench, so you can target quads, hamstrings, glutes, calves, and the inner and outer thighs from equipment built to a professional standard yet sized for a home gym.
What leg machines does Force USA make?
The lineup splits into three groups, so you can match the machine to your space, budget, and training goals.
- Plate-loaded combo machines: The Ultimate 45 Degree Leg Press & Hack Squat Combo is a 4-in-1 (leg press, hack squat, calf raise, and forward thrust) rated to 1,000 lb, and the Compact Leg Press & Hack Squat is a space-saving 3-in-1 (leg press, hack squat, calf raise) rated to 700 lb.
- Solitude Series stations: The pin-loaded Solitude Leg Press / Calf Raise, Leg Extension / Leg Curl, and Abductor / Adductor deliver selectorized, gym-style resistance you change with a single pin.
- Sliding Bench: The patent-pending, cable-connected Sliding Bench turns a compatible CORNERSTONE® trainer into a five-station leg machine.
What are the Solitude Series leg machines?
The Solitude Series is Force USA's pin-loaded, selectorized leg lineup, built to commercial-gym quality but intended for the home gym. Each station uses a machined weight stack at a true 1:1 ratio, so every pound you pin is the load you actually lift, which makes progressive overload easy to track.
- Solitude Leg Press / Calf Raise: a 264 lb (120 kg) machined stack drives both a seated leg press and standing calf raise from one frame.
- Solitude Leg Extension / Leg Curl: isolates the quads on the extension and the hamstrings on the curl, with adjustable pads to fit your leg length.
- Solitude Abductor / Adductor: trains the outer thighs (abduction) and inner thighs (adduction) that free weights tend to miss.
A magnetic weight selector pin locks your resistance in place and changes in seconds, and heavy-gauge steel frames with precision bearings keep every rep smooth and stable.
What is the Force USA Sliding Bench?
The Sliding Bench is the world's first cable-connected, adjustable bench, built to make compatible CORNERSTONE® trainers more capable on leg day. It combines five stations in one: leg press, hack squat, leg curl, leg extension, and preacher curl. Resistance flows from the trainer's cable stacks, so there are no loose plates to load. A 22 in diamond-plated footplate and padded shoulder supports handle heavy leg work, while the preacher curl attachment adds precise arm training from the same bench.
Leg press vs hack squat: what is the difference?
Both movements train the quads, hamstrings, and glutes, but the body position differs. On a leg press you sit and push the platform away from a supported position, which isolates the legs and takes load off the lower back. On a hack squat you stand against an angled back pad and squat, which allows a deeper range of motion and brings in more core engagement for stability. Force USA combo machines like the Ultimate 45 Degree Combo and the Compact Leg Press & Hack Squat give you both movements in one frame, so you do not have to choose.
What muscles do leg machines work?
- Quadriceps: leg press, hack squat, and leg extension.
- Hamstrings: leg press, hack squat, and leg curl.
- Glutes: leg press and hack squat.
- Calves: the calf raise function on the combo machines and the Solitude Leg Press / Calf Raise.
- Inner and outer thighs: the Solitude Abductor / Adductor.
Are Force USA leg machines good for a home gym?
Yes. These machines are built for home gyms, with the build quality you would expect from commercial equipment. The Compact Leg Press & Hack Squat measures just 52 in wide by 65 in deep yet delivers three movements, and the Solitude stations bring heavy-gauge steel construction into a footprint that fits a serious home setup. Force USA leg machines have also been recognized by Garage Gym Reviews for innovation. By guiding the load on a fixed path, every machine lets you train heavy on your own with far less risk than loading a barbell solo.
How do I choose the right Force USA leg machine?
Pick a plate-loaded combo machine for maximum top-end load and the lowest cost per pound, choose a Solitude station for fast, tool-free pin-loaded resistance and gym-style isolation, or add the Sliding Bench if you already own a compatible CORNERSTONE® trainer and want five leg-day stations without adding a separate machine. For safe training, stay within each machine's stated maximum and leave clear access around every unit for entry, exit, and adjustment.
