The right flooring protects your subfloor, steadies every lift, and keeps a home or garage gym quieter and safer. Force USA builds the VersaFit™ tile range to cover that whole job, from a straightforward entry tile to gap-free locking systems and warm WoodGrain finishes, all in an easy-to-install 3'x3' (39.4 in / 1 m) format that goes down fast and holds its position rep after rep.

What flooring tiles does Force USA offer?

The VersaFit™ lineup spans four tiles, so you can match the floor to your budget, your training, and the look you want.

  • VersaFit™ Rubber Flooring Tiles: the entry option, a 3'x3' (1 m), 5/8 in / 15 mm high-density rubber tile that delivers firm, durable protection for everyday training.
  • VersaFit™ Gapless Rubber Floor Tiles: a dual-layer, low-VOC tile with under-tile locking anchors that build a gap-free, slip-resistant surface, available in Black and Gray Fleck.
  • VersaFit™ Lock Grip Pro Rubber Flooring Tiles: a 12 mm recycled-rubber tile with an interlocking puzzle-piece edge that locks together tool-free, with no adhesive required, sold in 9-tile and 12-tile sets.
  • VersaFit™ Gapless WoodGrain Floor Tiles: a 0.8 in / 20 mm dual-layer tile with a woodgrain top over a durable recycled-rubber base, in two finishes, Elkhorn Hickory and Arctic Birch.

What is the difference between gapless and interlocking tiles?

Both create a continuous floor, but they connect differently. Interlocking tiles, like the Lock Grip Pro, use a puzzle-piece edge that presses together tool-free for quick setup and easy reconfiguration. Gapless tiles, like the Gapless Rubber and Gapless WoodGrain, use under-tile locking anchors that pull neighboring tiles tight for a near-seamless, gap-resistant surface that resists shifting under heavy load. Choose interlocking for the fastest setup and flexibility, and gapless for the tightest, most finished-looking floor.

How thick should gym flooring be?

Thickness depends on how you train. The VersaFit™ tiles range from 12 mm on the Lock Grip Pro to 15 mm (5/8 in) on the Rubber Flooring Tiles and up to 20 mm (0.8 in) on the Gapless Rubber and Gapless WoodGrain tiles. Thinner tiles suit general training, cardio, and equipment areas, while thicker tiles add more impact absorption and noise control for heavier lifting and dropped loads. For a deadlift or drop zone, lean toward the thicker 20 mm options.

Which VersaFit tile is right for me?

  • On a budget or just starting out: the VersaFit™ Rubber Flooring Tiles give you durable, high-density protection at the best entry value.
  • Want a seamless, premium floor: the Gapless Rubber tiles lock anchor to anchor for a tight, gap-free surface in Black or Gray Fleck.
  • Want the fastest, most flexible setup: the Lock Grip Pro tiles press together tool-free and come ready as 9-tile or 12-tile sets.
  • Want the look of a finished studio: the Gapless WoodGrain tiles bring warm woodgrain styling, Elkhorn Hickory or Arctic Birch, over the impact protection of recycled rubber.

How many flooring tiles do I need?

Each tile covers a 3'x3' (1 m) square, or 9 square feet. To estimate, measure the length and width of your space in feet, multiply them for total square footage, then divide by nine to get the tile count, and round up. We recommend a minimum of 9 tiles (about 100 sq ft) to get a home gym foundation started right. For an exact count, use the VersaFit Tile Calculator.

Are Force USA flooring tiles easy to install?

Yes. Every VersaFit™ tile is designed for a fast, tool-free, adhesive-free install. The large 3'x3' (1 m) format means fewer tiles and fewer seams to manage, the interlocking and anchor systems connect by hand, and tiles can be lifted, moved, and reused without damaging the subfloor or leaving residue. A slip-resistant top surface keeps you grounded on concrete, hardwood, or existing tile, and routine upkeep is as simple as a vacuum or a quick wipe-down.
