A weight bench is the foundation of almost every strength session, from heavy pressing to curls, rows, and core work. Force USA builds five benches to cover that whole range: dedicated flat benches for maximum pressing stability, adjustable FID benches for angle versatility, and cable-connected benches that lock into a CORNERSTONE® trainer to add full leg and arm stations. Each one is engineered to a professional standard so you can train heavy with confidence in a home gym.

What benches does Force USA make?

The lineup spans three types, so you can match the bench to how you train and the equipment you already own.

  • Flat bench: The Peak Flat Bench is a dedicated pressing platform built on a 3x3 in / 76 mm, 11-gauge steel frame with a 1,000 lb / 454 kg capacity.
  • Adjustable FID benches: The Pro Series FID Bench and the MyBench move through flat, incline, and decline angles so one bench covers chest, shoulders, back, and arms.
  • Cable-connected benches: The Base Bench and the patent-pending Sliding Bench lock into a compatible CORNERSTONE® trainer's weight stacks to add leg and arm stations with no loose plates.

What is the difference between a flat bench and an FID bench?

A flat bench has one fixed, horizontal surface, which makes it the most stable choice for heavy pressing such as the bench press, dumbbell press, and flys. An FID (flat, incline, decline) bench adjusts the backrest and seat through multiple angles, so the same bench can train the upper chest on an incline, the lower chest on a decline, and the shoulders when set upright. Choose a flat bench when pressing stability is the priority, and an FID bench when you want one piece of equipment to cover the most exercises.

Which Force USA bench is right for me?

  • Peak Flat Bench: the choice for serious pressing. A 79.4 lb, 3x3 in 11-gauge steel build and a 1,000 lb / 454 kg capacity keep it planted, and a single-column front foot leaves room for unrestricted leg drive.
  • Pro Series FID Bench: a pro-grade standalone adjustable bench with eight backrest angles, six seat settings, a -10 to 75 degree range, and a 992 lb / 450 kg rating, replacing several benches in one compact footprint.
  • MyBench: a 3-in-1 FID bench that ships with a preacher curl attachment and a leg curl and leg extension attachment, with seven backrest angles, three seat positions, a -15 to 80 degree range, and a 705 lb / 320 kg tested capacity.
  • Base Bench: a cable-connected adjustable FID bench that locks into the Force USA C10 and C20 weight stacks and adds preacher curls, leg curls, and leg extensions, with no weight plates required.
  • Sliding Bench: the patent-pending, cable-connected bench that turns a compatible CORNERSTONE® trainer into a five-station leg machine.

What is the Force USA Sliding Bench?

The Sliding Bench is the world's first cable-connected, adjustable bench, built to make compatible CORNERSTONE® trainers more capable on leg day. It combines five stations in one: leg press, hack squat, leg curl, leg extension, and preacher curl. Resistance flows from the trainer's cable stacks, so there are no loose plates to load. A 22 in / 56 cm diamond-plated footplate and padded shoulder supports handle heavy leg work, while the preacher curl station adds precise arm training from the same bench.

How much weight can a Force USA bench hold?

Capacity depends on the model. The Peak Flat Bench is rated to 1,000 lb / 454 kg, the Pro Series FID Bench to 992 lb / 450 kg, and the MyBench to a tested 705 lb / 320 kg. Each one is built on heavy-gauge steel with dense, non-slip padding that holds you in position under load. For safe training, stay within each bench's stated capacity and set every adjustment lock fully before you lift.

Are Force USA benches good for a home gym?

Yes. Every bench is built to a professional standard yet sized for a home setup. The adjustable models fold the work of several benches into one compact footprint, and the cable-connected Base Bench and Sliding Bench add full training stations to a CORNERSTONE® trainer without taking up extra floor space. Whichever you choose, a stable, properly locked bench is one of the simplest ways to train heavy safely on your own.
